Description:
Responsible for installation, maintenance and administration of Tesla's
networks within a Windows environment. Proactively monitor systems and services
to ensure those high levels of on-line performance and availability are
maintained. Troubleshoots and rectifies end-User problems. Diagnoses and repairs
networks and problems associated with routing protocol between router gateways
and specialized server/hosts. Coordinates and executes end-user moves
requiring installation of SW and HW. Project Management of technical projects
requiring liaison with suppliers, customers and end users.

Areas of responsibility:
- As a member of our technical staff your time will be divided among the
following responsibilities:
- Maintenance/ Administration of Tesla Networks (20%)
- Maintain Tesla Industries WEB Page (5%)
- Troubleshoot and rectify end-user Problems (5%)
- Diagnose and Repair Network Problems (5%)
- Coordinate and Execute end User Moves/installations (20%)
- TELCOM/Network Wiring (As Needed)
- Project Management of Technical Projects (20%)
- Configure/Monitor internal Management Applications (15%)
- Performs other duties as assigned by the President or HR Manager
Required Skills:
- Excellent Communication Skills (Ability to communicate to all level of users)
- Experience with server administration
- Experience with TCP/IP Protocols
- Experience with Routers, Hubs, Switches ect
- Experience with Installation/ Configuration of server equipment
- SNMP/RMON based Management Applications, Databases
- Demonstrable ability configuring/ troubleshooting Server & PC hardware and
Software
- Excellent record keeping skills are required
Education:
BS/CS or equivalent experience
